Skylena Request a quote

Small print

What happens to your details when you book

Followed through the life of a request: what you send, what the operator gets, what we keep and for how long.

Effective August 4, 2026. Written as the path a request actually takes, because that is easier to check than a list of categories.

Skylena Dispatch LLC, of 1300 East 9th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44114, decides how the information on this site is handled and is the controller for it. Questions and requests go to [email protected].

Step one: you ask for a quote

What you type into the request form or tell the desk on the telephone:

Always
Your name, an email address, a telephone number, the pick up and drop off, the date and time, and the number of passengers and bags.
Sometimes
A flight number, a child seat requirement, an accessibility need you have chosen to mention, or notes about the address.
Never asked for
Card or bank details, a passport or identity document, a date of birth, or a social security number. No payment is taken on this site and there is no checkout on it.

This is used to work out whether the run is possible, what it costs and who should carry it. Nothing else.

Step two: the desk checks availability

To answer you, the desk talks to local operators. At this stage they get the shape of the job: the pick up area, the drop off, the date, the time and the party size. Your name and contact details are not passed on while a quote is only a quote.

Step three: you confirm and the job is placed

Now the operator needs enough to do the work. They receive your name, your telephone number, the exact pick up and drop off, the time, the passenger and bag count, the flight number if there is one, and any note you asked to be passed on.

They do not receive your email address unless you ask for it to be shared, and they do not receive any part of your correspondence with the desk that is not about the ride.

Each operator is an independent company and handles that information as its own controller under its own policy.

Step four: afterwards

Quote requests that did not become bookings
Deleted after 6 months.
Completed bookings
Kept for 24 months, so a repeat customer does not have to repeat themselves and so a dispute can be checked. Then deleted.
Correspondence with the desk
Held for as long as the thread is active, and for a further year after it closes.
Records with a legal or tax reason to exist
Kept for as long as the law requires and no longer.
Hosting records
Ordinary server logs held by the host on a short cycle measured in weeks.

What runs on this site

Almost nothing, and it is worth being specific.

One item is stored in your browser, `sk_consent_2026_1`, recording the answer you gave the cookie notice so it stops appearing. It never leaves your browser.

Beyond that entry the page is inert. Visitor measurement, behavioural pixels, tag containers, embedded social widgets, session replay and live chat are all absent, and so is every other piece of code belonging to somebody else. Even the typefaces come off this domain. That is why the notice tells you that refusing optional cookies costs you nothing: the optional ones do not exist.

Who else touches your details

  • The operator placed with your ride, limited to what step three describes.
  • The mail service that carries correspondence in and out of this office.
  • The relay that converts a submitted request into a message.
  • The company hosting these pages.

Nobody else. Your details are never sold, rented, bartered or handed to anybody for marketing, and no advertising profile is built here. Disclosure may happen where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Do not sell or share

Selling personal information is something this company has never done and does not intend to start. Neither is sharing it so that somebody can follow a reader around other websites, which is the activity California and several other states single out by name. You will not find an opt out button below, because an opt out needs something to switch off. Were that ever to change, the change would appear on this page before it appeared in practice.

Your rights

Several states give you enforceable rights over your own information, and this desk applies them to everyone rather than checking which state a message came from. You may ask what is held, ask for a copy in a readable form, have an error corrected, have the record deleted, limit what it is used for, and you will be treated no differently for asking.

Send it to [email protected]. The statutory window is 45 days and the actual reply is normally within two working days. Identity checking is kept to the minimum that makes sense: replying from the address the record already contains is usually enough. Somebody may act on your behalf if they carry your written instruction.

Children

This is a service for adults arranging transport. Nothing here is directed at children and no information is knowingly collected from anyone under 13. Where a child is travelling, the details we need are the seat requirement and the party size, given by the adult making the booking.

Security

Pages are served over HTTPS. Booking details sit in an ordinary business mailbox protected by a strong unique password and two step verification, and access is limited to the person running the desk. Old records are deleted on the schedule above rather than accumulating, which is the most effective protection available to an operation this size.

If you find a weakness in this site, reporting it to [email protected] will be met with thanks.

Where the information sits

The company and the services it uses are in the United States, so that is where your details are handled. If you write from outside the country, the protections that apply are American ones rather than the rules where you live.

Changes

This page tracks what the desk actually does, so a change in practice means a rewrite here and a new date at the head of it. Where the change touches what gets collected or who ends up seeing it, a notice sits at the top of the page for two months so nobody has to compare versions.
